J.MA Studio

Booth B-05

Jennifer Ma, also known as J.MA, is a first-generation Asian American and LGBTQIA+ artist residing in Altadena, California. A little over a year ago, she quit her full-time job working as a professional designer to pursue her dream of being an illustrator. She was overworked and suffering mentally as a corporate designer, hence, J.MA Studio was born to fulfill her desire for boundless creativity. She creates whimsical risograph prints, canvas prints, and punch needle decor. Her work often showcases depictions of her reality, where both happy and sad emotions coexist. What she hopes to achieve through her art is a sense of familiarity and to evoke a sense of play and wonder.
