Hector Omar Hernandez is an Artist, Printmaker, and Educator born and raised, and currently based in South Los Angeles. He holds a BA in Studio Practice from UC Berkeley (2009) and an MFA in Printmaking and Drawing from WSU, Pullman (2011).
Hernandez's recent work focuses on social and political issues in America, drawing inspiration and parallels from political printmakers from the past, political cartoons, and merch to criticize and add humor to difficult current events. He is a multidisciplinary artist that loves the physicality of printmaking and its use in political art, movements, and democratizing the affordability and access to the visual arts. Hernandez is available for commissions!
