Anne Covell is a book artist and hand papermaker living in San Diego, CA. Her work specializes in limited edition artist books and prints that concern the human relationship to the natural world. Covell works primarily with naturally dyed and handmade papers as a means to produce cohesive work that is sensitive to the preservation of material resources and processes. She has taught for numerous professional organizations including the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory, Penland School of Crafts, and the University of Georgia study abroad program in Cortona, Italy, among others.
